Rick brings to ECR more than fifteen years of professional work experience in regulatory compliance and safety management & training plus more than three years of professional work experience emergency disaster preparedness.

Rick graduated from Southern Illinois University with a bachelor's degree in Workforce Education and Development with emphasis on adult education, training, and development. He is also a Certified Healthcare Safety Professional, Master Level (CSHP). In addition to his education, Rick has training in the following areas: 40-Hour HAZWOPER, Hazardous Materials Transportation, Hazardous Waste Operations & Emergency Response, Domestic Preparedness / Weapons of Mass Destruction Responder Awareness, and the National Incident Management System.

Rick has successfully completed seventeen years excellent military service with nine years of developing, implementing, and enforcing federal and state regulatory policies and procedures for compliance with fire and personnel safety, electrical safety, environmental health, hazard communication, personal protective equipment, respiratory protection, and hazardous materials management.
